The music of Harry Partch hovers between experimental blues, spoken word and classical monodrama. It is also unique because of Partch’s use of self-built instruments. For Ictus, Tim Mariën reworked the song cycle The Wayward. Partch-inspired work by Mariën and Thomas Smetryns complete the programme.
